Chessveto supports an in-game Lua editor. It's simple, but it supports clipboard, undo/redo, and has built-in documentation for every custom function that Chessveto utilizes.
There's also a simple connect-the-dots visual editor that comes pre-built with a base for every piece. Incredibly intuitive and it looks great.
Chessveto is a multiplayer experience.
There aren't any in-game bots or AI to play against, simply due to the complexity required for one to understand and properly use scripted pieces. Future versions may include basic singleplayer bots, but for now, grab a friend and play Online, on LAN, or with Pass and Play.
Chessveto has a free Friend's Pass/Lite version that supports everything from the full game, except doesn't allow for hosting. This means you can either join another player who's hosting on LAN or Online, or just use Pass and Play. LAN and Online support 4 digit codes to join your friends. It's as easy as pressing Host, sharing the code with your friend, and they can join from anywhere. No port forwarding needed!
Chessveto is a solo developer project. There will likely be edge case bugs that I can't plan for or test on my personal setup. But I've done my best to polish everything I can and now my ears are open to you. Let me know if there's anything I can add or fix for you! I'll do my best.
Chessveto is DRM-free. It's fully offline and you can play it anywhere without an account or login. The lite version is also 100% free. Please consider supporting me by sharing with your friends or purchasing the full version for $9.99 to access Online/LAN hosting and support meenum Studio.
